Gabby’s Dollhouse: The Movie Fall Maze Activity for Kids

This season, I created a hand-drawn fall maze inspired by Gabby’s Dollhouse: The Movie. It’s more than just a path to follow — kids can collect letters along the way, unscramble a mystery word, and enjoy coloring some of their favorite characters: Gabby, Pandy Paws, CatRat, and Chumsely.

Why This Activity Works for Homeschoolers:
The maze blends play with learning. While solving, children strengthen:

  • Problem-Solving Skills through navigating twists and turns
  • Literacy by identifying and unscrambling letters
  • Fine Motor Development from tracing and coloring
  • Creativity as they add their own colors and details to the characters

How to Use:

  1. Print the maze or share copies with your homeschool group.
  2. Kids trace through the path, circling letters as they find them.
  3. Unscramble the letters to reveal a special word.
  4. End with a coloring session — encourage warm fall shades like oranges, yellows, reds, and browns.

Extension Ideas:

  • Let kids design their own maze or add hidden objects inside.
  • Pair the activity with a read-aloud of a Gabby’s Dollhouse storybook.
  • Ask: “What fall adventure would Gabby and her friends go on?” and let kids draw or write about it.

This activity brings together fun, learning, and creativity, perfect for cozy homeschool days.
