Zero Spook Fall Fun
The forests of Glipwood are turning gold, and the streams are full to bursting. You can almost hear the laughter of river nibbins and the roar of the mighty falls of Aerwiar! Today, we’ll capture that movement and magic in your sketchbook.
Start with a tall, flowing line — one graceful curve that tumbles downward. Imagine the river cresting over the edge of a mossy cliff, sparkling in the autumn sun.
Add two or three more tall lines beside it. Each one is a different stream joining the fall — a little uneven, a little wild. Water, like imagination, doesn’t flow in straight lines.
Gently connect your lines at the top with soft arches — that’s where the water spills over the rock. Maybe add a few bumps or cracks in the cliffside; Aerwiar’s waterfalls have plenty of character!
Draw a puffy cloud at the bottom — this is the mist and foam. It’s the laughter of the river meeting the pool below. Let it be big and bouncy, like a thwapsquirrel’s tail!
Now bring your waterfall to life! Add sparkles, tiny motion lines, and maybe a few swirling autumn leaves. You can even draw a brave traveler standing nearby — perhaps Leeli playing her whistleharp, or a little creature hiding behind the rocks.
Maybe this is The Singing Falls of Aerwiar, where the water hums a lullaby that only true-hearted adventurers can hear. Or maybe it hides a secret cave — the kind that glows when moonlight hits the mist just right.
Whatever your story, let your pencil flow like the waterfall itself — fearless, free, and full of wonder.
“The world is whispering beauty to us every day. Are we listening?”
